Instructions to Purchase Tickets

Tickets can be bought online ten days in advance.
You can pay for the tickets using mobile financial services: Nagad, bKash, Rocket, Upay or debit/credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, DBBL Nexus. Other payment options will be available soon.
In case of payment or transaction failure, the deducted amount would be refunded by your bank or MFS provider within 8 business days.
In case money has been deducted from your card / mobile wallet but you have not received a ticket confirmation, the deducted amount would be refunded by your bank or MFS provider within 8 business days.
If you have not received your ticket copy in email, kindly check your Spam / Junk folder. You can also download your ticket copy from the purchase history of your account after you login.

www railway gov bd is the official website of Bangladesh Railway. All intercity train tickets can be purchased through this website. Online train ticket booking can also be done through it. Advanced Train schedule, ticket booking and purchase can be done from eTicket menu of this website. Also e ticket booking can be done directly through e ticket railway gov bd website. Besides, registration, booking and purchase of tickets can also be done through the Railway app.

Bangladesh Railway Online Train Ticket 2024

Bangladesh Railway has already introduced online train ticket or eticket system. Shohoz com is in charge of eTicket management. Before this there was CNS Limited.

From April 1, Bangladesh Railways has announced that no tickets will be sold at the counter from now on. All tickets will be sold online. Also advance ticket booking can be done online. But the original ticket must be collected from the designated counter. Traveler’s national identity card, birth certificate or passport number will be required for online ticket purchase or booking. One cannot travel with the ticket of another.

E Ticket Railway Gov BD

BD Railway Online train tickets can be purchased through eticket railway gov bd website. This is the only official website. Advance train ticket booking can be done through this. Along with regular tickets, Eid tickets can also be booked through it. Also, e tickets can be purchased and booked through the rail sheba app download.

Apart from the eticket.railway.gov.bd website, Android and iOS device users can purchase train tickets online and book advance tickets through the eticket.railway.gov.bd apps. For this you have to use Rail Sheba App of Bangladesh Railway. It is developed by Shohoz com app. It is also known as Shohoz Rail Sheba App. The app can be installed and used from the Google Play Store. The app can be used just like the website. E Ticket BD Railway Registration

In order to purchase or book train tickets through eticket railway gov bd registration website or app, registration is required first. If you have not already registered, you must complete the registration with the necessary information. Train Ticket booking and registration can be done by logging in if the registration has already been completed. Apart from website and app, registration can be done by SMS. Passenger’s mobile number, national identity card number and date of birth will be required for registration. All information must be provided as per National Identity Card. Registration can also be done with birth registration number, passport number. Follow the instructions below to complete the registration online or through the app.

Click on Registration option.
Enter your mobile number.
Enter your NID Number / Passport Number / Birth Registration Number.
Select your date of birth.
Click on Verify button.
Complete the verification.
After successful verification click on Submit Data option.

Please note that, a code will be sent to your mobile number/email for verification. Verification must be done with one time password/OTP.

Eticket Railway Gov BD Registration by SMS

Apart from Bangladesh Railway website and app, railway e-ticket registration can be done by sending SMS. SMS can be sent from any mobile phone. Registration should be completed by providing the National Identity Card Number, Birth Registration Number or Passport Number and sending SMS. To register through SMS, send an SMS as below.

Online Train Ticket Booking Time in Bangladesh

According to railway sources, the ongoing restrictions on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha have been relaxed from July 15 to 23 at 8 am. So it was supposed to start selling tickets online from 8 pm today. But senior railway officials are yet to explain why tickets are not available online.
